100 Dollar Note

The Redesigned $100 Note

Know Its Features. Know It's Real.

July 16, 2013

In our last communication, we highlighted the two new security features incorporated in the redesigned $100 note, the 3-D Security Ribbon and the Bell in the Inkwell.

To help you educate law enforcement officials on these and other security features in the redesigned $100 note before it begins circulating on October 8, 2013, we have created a variety of training materials. These materials are available in multiple languages and we offer them free of charge.

Remember, the best way to determine whether a note is genuine is to rely on the security features. Download or order your materials today.

Know Your Money

This brochure illustrates the security features and bank indicators for the current design $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100 notes. This quick reference guide is easy to use and portable. Download an electronic copy or contact your local U.S. Secret Service field office to order hard copies.
