What historical images are on the note?
The redesigned $100 note features traditional American images, such as Benjamin Franklin’s portrait and a new vignette of the back of Independence Hall.

The note also features phrases from the Declaration of Independence and a quill pen similar to the one used to sign that historical document.

What vignette can be found on the back of the new $100?
The vignette on the back of the $100 note depicts the rear of Independence Hall, the building where the United States Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia in 1776.

Why do some $100 notes have a small FW printed in the corner?
The redesigned $100 notes printed at the Western Currency Facility in Fort Worth, Texas, will have a small FW in the top left corner on the front of the note, to the right of the numeral 100. If a note does not have an FW indicator, it was printed at the Eastern Currency Facility in Washington, D.C.
